a bit about my quirky background...

I am pursuing a PhD in Rhetoric, and my dissertation examines ways in which linguistic and visual language creates the world we live in.

A few years ago, I decided to learn design skills to see how academic theories related to real-world communication. NRF Studio in Berkeley graciously apprenticed me for two years. Since then, I've been seeking out projects requiring multi-faceted design/language solutions.

When I'm not designing or writing, you'll find me mixing strange cocktails, cooking Japanese food, and exploring regional parks with my dog, Ryman.

Please check out some ideas floating around my head in The Sandbox.
