I am pursuing a PhD in Rhetoric, and my dissertation examines ways in which linguistic and visual language creates the world we live in.
A few years ago, I decided to learn design skills to see how academic theories related to real-world communication. NRF Studio in Berkeley graciously apprenticed me for two years. Since then, I've been seeking out projects requiring multi-faceted design/language solutions.
When I'm not designing or writing, you'll find me mixing strange cocktails, cooking Japanese food, and exploring regional parks with my dog, Ryman.
